The messy chaotic states of transition drive my inquiry. Curiously, I follow the thread allowing materiality and instinct to guide me. My process is similar to automatic drawing; I answer via imagery from my subconscious while tapping into the collective unconscious. Using form, color and movement I create a visual language that evokes sensations, and emotions prioritizing the body’s wisdom over logic. My work attempts to speak the language of dreams, color, memory and other indescribable phenomena that are viscerally felt yet rarely understood.

Clee (she/they) is a multidisciplinary visual artist who lives and works in Portland, Oregon. She curiously explores a variety of media, utilizing an abstract and surreal visual language to speak with color, organic forms, and movement. Clee received a BFA in Studio Art from SOU, as well as an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from CIIS.

1:1 session work

As a guide, I work with clients, supporting them through deep inner journeys and landscapes. Seeing the bigger picture of the whole person, I help them work through challenges on energetic, and emotional levels. Locating the heart of the matter, we can unravel and nurture the truest expression of themselves to live in alignment with purpose and ease. The process is intuitive, and yet the tools I provide my clients are practices that are grounded. Over time deep core challenges are transformed. I utilize creativity, and various other methods gathered over years of introspective and creative journey to serve each individual in a unique way designed just for them.

Testimonials

“I worked with Clee to let go of and shift some deeply ingrained patterns I was carrying. I felt safe talking with her during our phone sessions as she helped me remove blocks that had kept me from stepping into positions of leadership and creativity that I wanted to pursue. Clee has a facility with many healing modalities including human design, meditation, journaling practices, art therapy, and more. She had an intuitive ability to pinpoint which ones would work for me personally and helped me peel back the layers, one by one and get to the root of things. In part thanks to my work with her, I just started a new job as the editor of a magazine and am loving it.”
